Hello, I would like to take the earliest shift I can possibly take on Saturday and I don't mind doing a shift after 1 o'clock on Sunday if it is absolutely positively necessary.

Maurice Mines, secretary national Federation of the blind of Washington Clark County Chapter. Phone number 360-524-0791. School email address, Maurice.Mines at PCC.Edu

>> Hi,
>>
>> Our chapter will be having a fundraiser on Saturday and Sunday, Nov 9 & 10 at the Hazel Dell Fred Meyer’s.
>> The hours will be: 10 AM to 4 PM on Saturday and
>> Noon to 4 PM on Sunday.
>> We will be selling the Worlds Finest Chocholate. We have 4 cases of the Meltaways and 4 cases of the mixed candy bars.
>>
>> It is best if we can have two volunteers at the table.
>> Saturday can either be two 3 hours shifts or 3 2 hour shifts and Sunday can either be 2 two hour shifts or 1 4 hour shift.
>> This can be determined by the members who volunteer.
>>
>> We will need a table (usually a card table is adequate), a couple of chairs and an NF B sign.
>> To start the day, we will need enough cash to make change for $20.
>> We need volunteer driver(s) to take out the table, chairs and boxes of candy in the mornings and for picking up the materials in the evening.
>> In case buses are not convenient, It might be helpful if a driver is available to assit member volunteers for getting back and forth.
>>
>> Two 3-hour shifts on Saturday and possible 1 4-hour shift on Sunday would minimize the need for drivers.
>> I will admit a 3-hour shift isn’t too bad, 4-hours might be a drag. A lot depends on the weather.
>>
>> Any suggestions you might have regarding the fund raiser are welcomed.
>> Please respond to this as to; if you can volunteer, how you can volunteer and the times you are available.
