Completely blind or low vision?  If low vision, I'd suggest a low vision clinic.  Let them know about the NFB, ACB, Services for the Blind.  See if there's someone in their age range who could be available to help, answer questions/advice.

If you were to advise a senior (over 75 years of age), who had just gone blind,  What would you inform them about,   As to what free services are available to them.

I have my  ideas. What are yours?
