I plan to bake chocolate chip cookies since I have the ingredients. Besides, I am sure my son will take care of an “excess”.

It was suggested that we ask stores to donate the day-old baked goods, they would still be pretty good. I am not sure that baking cookies as opposed to buying them led to any higher donations.

As for cookies to use at Ghee Creek. My suggestion is that each group of volunteers bakes or brings some cookies to cover there shift. Excess cookies can be left for the next shift. Cookies can be baked, purchased or businesses can be asked to donate cookies for the event. Costco has donated to us in the past. Some bakeries have also.
