  If you wanted to have stuff in a suite that would be ok. Just as long as you don't need anything from Banquets (i.e. Plates, cups, chairs, etc. they will charge you extra for those items). 
  The hours of the suite would be something to worry about (noise level). 
  If you do decide to have food and beverage in the parlor suite; I'd leave a tip for housekeeping for taking care of the extra garbage.
  The other organization had a hospitality room, that had snacks and beverages (including alcohol). The room was a meeting room. They were able to serve alcohol because they had a licensed alcohol server.

  The Hilton does not provide free breakfast.

  The hotel (most hotels) don't allow groups to bring in outside food.  Obviously if individuals want to bring in their own food they cannot stop that, but stocking the hospitality room with food is a no go.
