When you get it please proofread it again for us in case any additional changes are made and if it looks fine feel free to make your own copies to distribute to people or email the flyer to potential customers. We have set the final date for submitting orders to me as November 13 which is a Sunday and will be able to pick up the Ries anytime during the week following Thanksgiving. We will work on how to distribute them to all of you and upcoming weeks but do not worry about trying to get a Wreath to a person as we will figure out something as long as they are in the area. He can Crop the photo he took with the edit option; so that it just had the wreath in the image. Then email it to you. Once you get the email, you can right click and copy the photo and paste it to your Word doc. You can click on the photo and there will be a box around the photo, you can click on the corner and be able to drag it up or down to make the photo bigger or smaller. Don?t know if they have any in stock yet. I am in the process of finishing up a flyer and will email to everyone as soon as it is done. The final step is to figure out a way to insert a photograph of the wreath into the blank space that I left on the flyer which is in word format. Don is going to try to help with this but if anyone else Knows how to quickly accomplish the technology feet please offer your assistance. As an alternative we may have to just provide the photo as a second page to the flyer. I did talk with the farm again today and she said that the order and pick up dates that were in their fundraising materials are just examples. You can actually submit orders any day of the week and pick up items any day of the week as long as orders are submitted to them two weeks prior to pick up. The flyer will appear as a word attachment. There is a large picture of the beautiful wreath on the flyer. Feel free to print as many copies as you would like to hand out to friends, relatives, associates, etc. You can also email the flyer two people as well. Note that the deadline for getting orders to me is November 13 and we will plan to pick up the Ries the week of November 28 and we will plan to distribute them during that week. It is advisable that you collect a check from people wishing to place an order as soon after you talk to them as possible but of course people that you feel are trustworthy can get a check to you later. however, you will be responsible for the money required to cover the number of wreaths that you have me order. you can mail me checks to: 13006 S. E. 24th Circle, Vancouver, WA 98683 Or I can get them from you at a meeting. Just keep track of who you sell a wreath to and how many they want. If any of your customers choose the option to have them sent out via UPS we will need the customers full name and mailing address. Both the local delivery wreath option and the shipped option are the same wreath. The wholesale price of the shipped delivery wreath is $49 So I marked it up $10 for profit for the selling price of $59. There is no minimum order that we have to place but purchases are made for the local delivery items in boxes of six. So I guess you could say we have a minimum of six Ries to order and then we have to order them in increments of six, 12, 18, 24 etc.. If we come out with an uneven number we will either have to try to sell a few more or ask some people to cancel their order. So it would be great as you take committed orders to give me frequent updates and I can then let the group know if we need to sell a few more in order to come out with a full case. Any orders that we place for Ries to be shipped do not have to be in increments of six so we can sell them individually. I did check with the 7 Dees nursery in Vancouver to find out if they sell Ries and what the average prices are and prices anywhere from 25 to over 50 $ for an in-store purchase are the going rate for past years and may be higher this year. The Touch Writer Voting Unit is a ballot marking electronic machine that allows voters with disabilities including those who are blind, mobility impaired, or lack upper-body dexterity, to vote privately and independently. The touch writer is in a booth that is wheelchair accessible. Beginning 18 days before each election, this accessible voting machine is available 8am to 5pm, and on Election day from 7am to 8pm at the Clark County Election Office 1408 Franklin St Vancouver. To get to the Election office on C-Tran take bus #25 St Johns Route. The stop is located at Franklin St and Mill Plain Blvd. About the Touch Writer The Touch Writer is accessible in several ways: For those that can not use the Touch Writer using the buttons and wheel, special interface devices are available (picture shown of a blow tub). For those that can not see or read the Touch Writer screen, use headphones with volume controls to hear the ballot (2 pictures 1 over the head, headphones, 2 pic of headphones that hang on your ear or ear buds). Accessible Features Those that are visually impaired or have difficulty reading can listen to the ballot. The SELECT wheel is the trigger to the audio.Turning Clockwise moves the listener through the ballot. To hear something repeated, turn the SELECT wheel counterclockwise. Those using hearing aids with telecoil mode may use their neckloop rather than the headphones. Voters who lack upper-body dexterity can use the jelly switches to move through the ballot. The RED jelly switch is the same as the SELECT wheel. The GREEN jelly switch is the same as the ENTER button. Voters with quadriplegia can use their sip-n-puff to vote the ballot. Sip to move through the ballot. Puff to mark your choice. Beth Greenberg -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
