*Culture, Arts and Heritage Commission*

The Culture, Arts and Heritage Commission is a nine-member volunteer group
responsible for facilitating the development and promotion of a thriving
cultural, art and heritage environment that reflects the Vancouver
community. This is accomplished through community-informed programs,
ownership of buildings and public art and a commitment to community
partnerships. Applications should have a background or demonstrated
interest in art, history or cultural disciplines or professions, including
architecture, dance, digital, history, cultural, literary, music, theater
and/or visual arts.

*Parking Advisory Committee*

The Parking Advisory Committee advises the City on parking policy and
program implementation.  Applicants must be a resident of the city and
represent either residential or business interests in downtown Vancouver.

*Salary Review Commission*

The Salary Review Commission reviews the salaries and duties of the mayor
and City councilors to establish their salary and compensation. Applicants
must be a resident of the city and a registered voter.

*Transportation and Mobility Commission*

The Transportation and Mobility Commission provides advice to the City
Council and staff on a variety of transportation and mobility-related
projects, programs and policies. It also provides ongoing feedback and
guidance on the implementation of Citywide transportation policy and the
City’s Transportation System Plan.  Applicants must be a city resident and
use transit as their primary mode of transportation.

*Vancouver Housing Authority Board of Commissioners*

This six-member volunteer board sets policy for the operation of the
Vancouver Housing Authority's (VHA) low-income rental housing assistance
programs and properties in Clark County. Commissioners play a critical role
in fulfilling VHA’s mission to provide opportunities to people who
experience barriers to housing because of income, disability or special
needs. Applicants should have an interest in setting policy for housing
assistance programs and cannot be landlords with rental assistance
contractors or a vendor, individual or developer currently doing business
with the VHA. Volunteers should have the ability to commit a minimum of
eight hours a month to meeting prep and attendance and serve a five-year
term beginning Feb. 12 and expiring Feb. 11, 2030.
