Hours session on Wednesday, May 6, from 1-2 PM Eastern Time.


We are honored to host Dr. David Handera, Amtrak’s Chief Accessibility
Officer and VP of Accessibility, Stations, and Facilities, for a discussion
and inside look into Amtrak’s accessibility program. Dr. Handera will share
how Amtrak is making travel easier, safer, and more accessible for
everyone, from planning a trip and buying tickets to navigating stations,
boarding trains, and accessing onboard services. This includes major
progress toward their goal of making more than 500 stations fully
ADA-compliant.

The Accessible Transportation Resource Center (ATRC) Office Hours webinar
series promotes accessible transportation strategies and facilitates
conversations on accessibility. Each hour-long session consists of a
presentation by experts on an accessible transportation topic followed by
an opportunity for questions and discussion.


ASL interpretation will be provided. For all other accessibility requests,
please contact Grayson Lee at lee at ctaa.org by April 30.
