Chapter of the NFB here in Vancouver. We have a great chapter and we would love
to have you in it. We do have a paratransit system here but also the bus system
is quite good. A person could live here on  fifty thousand if you lived
very conservatively . A house for 4 (2 bedroom) would rent for around a thousand
to twelve hundred a month an apartment would be about the same. A 3 or 4 bedroom
would go for around 1,500 and up. There are Christian private schools however
they are quite expensive. Child care is also expensive. East vancouver is really
nice although there are some neighborhoods close to down town that are pretty
nice as well. I moved here from out of state in 2008 so I know what you are
looking at. When I first came before my wife and family came I rented an
apartment in a bad part of town for around 600 a month I hope I have answered
all your questions please let me know if there are anymore. you can call me at

<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>My name is Mario and I am considering moving to
Vancouver, Washington.  However, in order to make this big decision I have
several questions that I hope you can help me out with.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>1.  Is there a local paratransit system
there?  If not, how can one best be an independent traveler?  For
example, going to the grocery store, going to the local NFB meetings,
etc.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>2.  If we decide to make the
move.  How is the price of housing?  For starters, a two
bedroom home or apartment?  We would be moving from Louisville,
Kentucky.  Could one live on making $50,000 a year
confortably?</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT color=#0000ff size=2 face=Arial></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>3.  Are there Christian private schools
there?</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>4.  In which area of Vancouver would you
recommend a family of four to make their first home?</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Arial>Any feedback would be greatly
