The training will be conduced through Clark County Fire District 6 and the Vancouver Fire Department.<o:p></o:p></p><p>The curriculum is aimed at helping neighbors stay safe and temporarily self-sufficient after a disaster.<o:p></o:p></p><p>Topics include disaster preparedness, basic firefighting, basic emergency medicine, light urban search and rescue, disaster psychology, organization and communications, and information on terrorism.<o:p></o:p></p><p>The course costs $30. Participants must be Clark County residents, and they have to attend all classes to complete the program.<o:p></o:p></p><p>Classes will be held at District 6’s station at 880 N.E.
