Tuesday, Oct. 16<sup>th</sup> is the date for our cash back fund raiser at Beaches. It is for the entire time from opening to closing.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>The fund raising committee will meet and discuss methods for advertising the event.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>If anyone has ideas on how to promote and get the word out for anyone to attend is welcome to send their comments to our local (CCC) list serve.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>If you talk to anyone about attending, remember to tell them they MUST mention to their server they are there for the blind, blind federation, NFB or something about the blind. If they don’t then we don’t get credit (which is ½ of their meal cost). <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>This is one of those ‘easy money’ events. This is an opportunity for us to raise a sizeable chunk of cash. It could be the same as 3 or 4 Ghee creeks, 5 or 6 candy bar sales.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>The average amount spent by 2 people is forty five to fifty dollars. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal> If we can get 40 people to attend for us, we could get one housand dollars from the event.
