<p class="MsoNormal">I am the construction manager for the City’s ADA ramp replacement project along Mill Plain Blvd and wanted to reach out to you to let you know about an upcoming project near the school. The City will be removing and replacing multiple
ADA ramps along the Mill Plain corridor, from Fort Vancouver Way to ‘Z’ Street. The ramp upgrades are being done in advance of pavement work that is scheduled for this summer. I have attached a copy of our notification letter to this email for your reference.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">In particular, we are replacing the ramps on the north side of the roadway at the intersections of Reserve, ‘U’, ‘V’, ‘W’, ‘X’, ‘Y’, and ‘Z’ streets. The Contractor will be starting this work later this week.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The Contractor will be utilizing traffic control plans that adhere to the current MUTCD requirements, which will include construction signs, cones, and flaggers. Lane closures will be occurring along Mill Plain during the daytime hours.
The Contractor will also be required to provide a safe, accessible route for pedestrians.<o:p></o:p></p>
