On Saturday, April 11, 1981 the National Federation of the Blind of Washington held a convention to renew our commitment to the organized blind movement. We had gone through some difficult times but we came out strong and ready to move. We rechanneled our focus to put our efforts squarely to helping blind Washingtonians live full lives and renewed our commitment to being a part of the National Federation of the Blind. Join us this Saturday, April 17, from 4-6 PM Pacific to celebrate our 40th anniversary. Those of us who were there will share our hopes and dreams for our organization from that time, and we will also share some funny stories. We will have a greeting from NFB president Mark Riccobono and hear from past NFB of Washington Presidents, leaders and members. </span><div><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;"><br></span></div><div><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Who were the leaders and members of the Federation in Washington in 1981?
