The man had been reported missing a couple days before, and the operator knew him through Portland\u2019s Tibetan community.<br><br>The operator stopped the bus, got out to speak with him in Tibetan, and helped connect him with first responders and his caregivers.<br><br>Because he recognized him from a distance, spoke his language and took action, a missing man was reunited with his family.<br><br>We\u2019re proud of the compassion, awareness and care our operators bring to the job every day.</p>
