Hi all, 

We have had a busy fall as a chapter. Some things that occurred:

1.       Advocacy visits to Annapolis for partitioning for the right to vote
independently

2.       Issuance of Pedestrian Safety Enhancement Act Regulations

3.       White cane travel discussions

1.       Meet the blind month activities

2.       NFB 50th anniversary Maryland state convention with record setting
attendance of 401 and 24 new members

3.       United States National elections

4.       Thanksgiving Holiday

5.       Fundraising events like Tino's

6.       Many additions of newsline

 

Our next NFB chapter meeting on Tuesday, December 6th  at 6:30 p.m. is fast
approaching. The Other Barn is located at 5851 Robert Oliver Pl, Columbia,
MD.

 

The tentative agenda looks like this:

-          Chapter business

-          NFB national presidential release

-          Legislative effort

o   Annapolis

o   Washington Seminar(Monday, January 30, through Thursday, February 2,) -

-          Chapter holiday party

-          Guest speaker: Things out there to buy and Technology
