[Central-md-chapter] upcoming October chapter meeting

Hi all, 

Our next NFB chapter meeting on Tuesday October 4th at 6:30 p.m. is fast
approaching. It is a meeting you will not want to miss as you live the life
you want. The tentative agenda looks like this:

-          Chapter business

-          NFB of Maryland 50th state convention

-          October - Meet the blind month activities

-          Non NFB supported social media campaign with the hashtag
HowEyeSeeIt

-          Continued discussion on how the blind travel, shop, and dine

 

If you have a white cane, please bring it to the meeting. And remember if
you do not have a cane yet, you can get a free one from the NFB by calling
the national center at 410-659-9314 or going to the NFB web site at:

The length of the cane you want is one that measures from the floor to
between your shoulder and your nose.

Event: October Meet the Blind Month - Lunch at Panera Bread 

 

When: Saturday, October 15, 2016 at10:15 a.m.

 

Where: the Columbia Mall - Panera Bread (upper level)

300 Little Patuxent Parkway, Columbia, MD 21044

 

Meeting spot: Meet outside the Lord & Taylor entrance adjacent to its
garage.  The Lord & Taylor mall entrance faces Little Patuxent Pkwy.  The
entrance doors are next to stores named Brow Art and Veil & 

Company.  

 

How: With canes in hand and wearing NFB shirts/rainbow colors
