[Central-MD-Chapter] Interesting Listserv group and National Convention Happenings

Hello all,

I think many of you would like Regina Mitchell's listserv. She runs a
computer group about cooking without depending on your vision. To contact
Regina Mitchell, write to Inthekitchen.nfb at gmail.com  If you want to join
her group, you will have to subscribe to the list first. Send an email and
make the subject "Subscribe". Include your name, email, address, etc. Go
to  nfb-inthekitchen at nfbnet.org  If you have difficulty, email Regina and
ask her to put you on the email list. Regina has a real passion for
cooking.

The National Federation of the Blind National Convention will be on July
5th through the 10th. You can participate using many different vehicles. To
listen to the general sessions on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 9AM to
noon and 2-5PM central time, you can listen to it from the
1. nfb.org/convention website; 2. go to https://zoom.us/j/96287762142  ; if
you have an echo or a dot, 3. tell your device to open the nations blind;
4. you may also call 339-209-4083.

You may also listen to the board of directors meeting on Thursday, July 7
between 9AM-12 central time. Use any of the methods listed above.

If you want to find out about the exhibitors, catch the sales, and find out
about new products, exhibitors will be available all day on July 6 and 7,
from 12-2PM and 7-9PM on July 8, or 12-2PM on July 9. Go to crowdcompass.com
and look up the national federation of the blind convention.
