Hello everyone.

This is a reminder that we will be having the Chapter pool party and cookout on Saturday, August 15 from 3 to 7 pm at the home of Gary and Glenda Farnum located at 6116 W. Gun Hill Way. Bring swimwear, sunscreen and a towel and come of fun in the sun, great food and relaxing time with our Federation Family.

Please RSVP so i can get an idea about the amount of food we will need. Also, if you would like to bring a dish or other item for the cookout, it would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know so we don’t end up with duplicates. We will have transportation available for those of you in the OKC metro area. The cost is $15 and seats are reserved on a first come, first served basis.

If you want to purchase one of the nifty NFB 75th anniversary power banks that we sold at National Convention, please plan to bring some extra cash. The power banks are $20 and will charge many devices on the go like phones, including iPhones, Headsets, Daisy book players, braille displays. If it can charge in a USB port, then it can charge on this battery pack. It’s a useful thing to have and helps support NFB Oklahoma. We will also have some Head Country BBQ Sweet and Spicy seasoning for $5 which benefits the Chapter. This tasty dry rub goes great on just about anything.
