We will have our regularly scheduled chapter meeting this Friday, August 9, from 7 to 9 pm. We will meet in room 1 at the Will Rogers Gardens Expo Center located at 3400 NW 36<sup>th</sup> Street.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>It is our chapter anniversary month! The Central Oklahoma Chapter was formed in August of 2008 (I think). I may have the year wrong. Jeannie was the first chapter president and can correct me if I got it wrong. In any event, happy anniversary Central Oklahoma Chapter! We will have some kind of goodies to celebrate.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Technically, we are supposed to have elections this month. Since I completely forgot about it until just now and am totally unprepared, we will have elections in September when I have my head on straight. Sorry for being a slacker. I’m all consumed with preparations for my trip to the US Rowing Masters National Championship next week and I am failing to focus on anything else right now.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>I’m still working on an agenda for the meeting. We will definitely have some convention recap.
