Directors,

Please join me in thanking Dana Draa, MAB's Chief Program Officer, for her service to MAB over the last few years and for her successful career of serving the blind and low vision community.

Dana will be departing MAB this Friday, June 9th and embarking on a new journey to serve our community through a Ph.D. program at UNC Charlotte and a new role at Veteran's Bridge Home. We are incredibly grateful for the impact she has made during her time with us.

Dana will be greatly missed! We are thankful that through her dedication, skills, and leadership she leaves MAB better than when she arrived having helped improve our programs and services, as well as the lives of our clients.

With Dana's departure we will be conducting a search for the future permanent head of our VRS Department.  Until a permanent department head is found Susan King, Program Coordinator will be acting as the interim VRS Department Administrator, Manager and executive liaison.

If you know of someone who may be interested in interviewing for the position, or if you have any questions, please contact me.
