Hi all,

>From Tracy Libertino, Metrolina Association for the Blind President and CEO:

We are deeply saddened about Shonté White's passing this past Saturday. She was a beloved staff member and dedicated MAB Family Member that helped thousands of people in our community. She passed after battling an illness over the past few months. Shonté served as a social worker here for more than 18 years. Most recently she was critical in assuring that we participated in this year's Empty Stocking Fund which helped MAB to assure that over 90 clients in need applied for assistance over the holiday. From the first day with MAB, Shonté was an integral part of the VRS team. She leaves behind a young son, whom she loved very much and a loving family and friends. She will be greatly missed by many!

A funeral service for Shonté will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 16 at St. Paul Baptist Church, 2259 Rowesville Road, Orangeburg, SC.

Below is a link to Shonté's obituary. If you wish to personally send flowers or leave a memorial message, you may do so at the link below.
