The annual NFB of NC convention will be August 22 to 25. A big thanks to the Mecklenburg chapter for hosting it in Charlotte this year. We are excited to be at the Hilton Charlotte University. Our team is lining up some great speakers, lots of things to visit in the exhibit room and of course the best door prizes available. Thursday will be our opening night with nothing but fun, fellowship and laughter. Those who missed Thursday last year said they would not miss it again. Of course you will want to get in on the basket auction on Saturday. We are asking each chapter to bring a basket valued at $100 minimum. You can put together your basket with a theme that you think others will want to bid on. Be creative and bring your basket to the convention. To register please go to nfbofnorthcarolina.org. You can reserve your hotel room at the Hilton Charlotte University Place by calling 1-800-hiltons any time or call 704-547-7444 Monday through Friday 8:00 am til 4:00 pm and ask to speak to in house reservations. You will need to reference the booking code which is NFB.
