Subject: Favor Requested

Good afternoon, Marlon,
I hope that you are doing well. I have a favor to ask. Would you mind sharing this on the listserv? I would appreciate it so much!
Donna Jean Breece

Discover practical tools to manage stress with confidence. This four‑session online group is designed specifically for blind and low‑vision adults. We’ll explore stress triggers, learn coping skills, strengthen communication, and build a personalized stress‑management plan. Each session offers a supportive space to learn, practice, and connect.
I am legally blind myself, with less than 10 degrees of central vision, and I understand firsthand how stress can affect daily life for people with vision loss. I’m offering this group as part of the requirements for completing my counseling degree, and I’m committed to creating a space that is accessible, respectful, and genuinely helpful.
Space is limited to six participants to keep the group supportive, personal, and interactive.
If you’re interested in joining at no cost, call or text Donna Jean Breece at (980) 263‑9282. I’m a therapist/student intern at the North Carolina Youth Violence Prevention Center.
(For individual counseling referrals, contact Emily Locklear at emily.locklear at ncyvpc.org<mailto:emily.locklear at ncyvpc.org> or 910‑674‑9732.)
