<p class="MsoNormal">The National Federation of the Blind National Convention is the largest gathering of blind people in the world. It is the premier event for training, support,<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">and information for the blind community. Although the convention is open to all, our<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"> </span>constitution<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"> </span>states that only members of the NFB
have the right to<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">participate in decision making when it comes to organizational policy. If you are not already a member,<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"> </span>join the NFB today.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Convention registration will open in March 2025. Registration will be 25 dollars per person plus 80 dollars per banquet ticket. Register early because<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">prices go up if you register onsite in New Orleans. Registration includes the biggest event of the year, access to the event app, and communications on<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">the latest news and events.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The Marriott New Orleans will serve as our headquarters hotel while right across the street is the Sheraton New Orleans providing the balance of our sleeping<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">rooms and activity space. The nightly rate for both the Marriott and the Sheraton is 119 dollars for singles and doubles. Triples and quads can be booked<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">• July 9: Breakout sessions continue on Wednesday, July 9, along with committee meetings.

<p class="MsoNormal">• July 10: Thursday will kick off with the annual meeting, open to all, of the Board of Directors of the National Federation of the Blind. National division<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">meetings will follow the board meeting that afternoon and evening.

<p class="MsoNormal">• July 11-13: General convention sessions will begin on Friday, July 11, and continue through the afternoon of Sunday, July 13.
