  Hello All,

I hope to see all of you at the Dinner and Movie event tomorrow. Please review the following logistical information if you plan to attend the event.

As you know we are going to watch a movie at the Cinemark Oakley Station located at 3025 Disney Street, Cincinnati, OH 45209. If you have never been to this theater, the main entrance to the theater faces the parking lot. As you enter from Disney Street you will be at the back of the building, drivers must follow an access road around to the front of the building to access the parking lot and the main entrance. The main entrance has five sets of doors. When facing the building the 3 sets of doors to the right are enter only and the 2 sets of doors to the left are exit only. The exit doors will be locked to those on the outside.

Please enter any of the 3 sets of entrance doors. Once inside the building the ticket counter will be on the right. There is a rope line typically found at movie theaters that will line you up for the ticket counter. In order to coordinate schedules and make this a group event we selected two movies to pick from which were Mission Impossible showing at 1:00pm and Inside Out starting at 1:35pm. Anyone who would rather not deal with the reimbursement process should see me or Deanna to purchase your ticket. I will be at the theater by 12:30 and I am sure Deanna is planning to arrive early as well. You will find us inside the lobby near the ticket counters. Please let us know you are there and which movie you will be watching so we can keep a head count.

Those who want to use descriptive video narration to watch the movie should ask the cashier for a Fidelio device programmed to the V.I. option for the visually impaired. This will enable the small handheld device to play a description of the scene, characters, etc. during the movie. This device is also capable of a H.I. option for the hearing impaired. This is amplified audio. Unfortunately, it can only do one or the other at one time. These two options are the exact programming language they use when setting up the devices as confirmed by the manager I spoke with this morning. A manager has also tested the equipment to confirm that both movies have the narration. I have given the management and the staff plenty of notice of our plans for tomorrow so this should go well.

The theater itself has 14 screens divided into two wings with 7 screens in each wing. The movies we selected are in opposite wings. Mission impossible will be in screen one and inside out will be in screen 13. The cashier can point out which way to travel for each. There are restrooms and exits in each wing before you get to the screen rooms

The movies we selected conclude within a few minutes of each other. When the movie you are watching concludes we will meet in what the theater calls the café seating area. Navigate back to the main lobby area that you entered when purchasing tickets. Be mindful that many of the movie goers will be leaving from the exit located near the restrooms. Try to ignore them. In the main lobby facing the 5 sets of doors, the ticket counter is on the left and the café seating area is on the right. The café seating area is next to the arcade area for those who like an auditory signal that you are in the right place.

There are two confirmed drivers helping to shuttle people from the theater to the restaurant. They are my husband Mike and my neighbor Bob. Please give them both a hard time. Mike and Bob will be watching Mission Impossible which ends first at 3:31pm. After their movie, they will head out to get their vehicles and will wait for me to let them know when we are ready to start the shuttle process. Please be in the café seating area within 15 minutes of the end of your movie. The shuttle process will begin when we have two car loads ready to go. We may need to make more than one trip to get everyone to the restaurant but the theater's close proximity to Oakley Pub makes this a piece of cake. I will make sure that no one gets left behind and will not leave the theater unless everyone else is gone. My husband will not forget me at least I hope. My cell number is 937-245-0547. Please keep this number handy in case of anything.

I hope to see you all there.

  Warmly,

  Rachel Kuntz
