Hello Cincinnati Chapter,

Please see the email below that I have sent to our president. I have
withdrawn as the motion of a White Cane Committee and proposed a Meet the
Blind Month Committee, which I would also volunteer to chair.

This is a follow up discussion that would have been had at the meeting, had
there been one, so I wanted all of you to know my thoughts and see my
proposal.

Dear Deborah,

In keeping with chapter relations and solidarity, I am withdrawing my motion
for a White Cane Safety Day Event Committee. I would offer instead, a
proposal to form a Meet the Blind Month Committee, which I would gladly
chair. This will cover events throughout the month of October, and yes,
maybe one on White Cane Safety Day at the Square, while we have the venue.
Any plans made for October 15th  will not interfere with the White Cane Walk
and we will extend invitations to both CABVI and Clovernook to join us in
any Meet the Blind Month Event planned that day.
