[Cinci-nfb] Committee Appointment

Hi Sheri, 

I'm so glad you had an opportunity to give this a bit more thought.  This
makes much more sense to me.  I know how sometimes things come into your
head and they seem urgent at the moment, but I was truly concerned that you
seemed so angry or agitated and I wasn't sure why.  

This is a much clearer idea and I wholeheartedly support it.  

Consider yourself chair of the Meet the Blind Month committee!  I look
forward to many sparkling ideas and events!

 

The Minutes will reflect who volunteered to serve and, of course, others can
join at any time.  

I appreciate your offer to take this on.

 

Your comments during yesterday's meeting as well as in this post seem quite
agitated.  I do hope if something regarding chapter proceedings is troubling
you, you'll let me know.

Dear Deborah,

In keeping with chapter relations and solidarity, I am withdrawing my motion
for a White Cane Safety Day Event Committee. I would offer instead, a
proposal to form a Meet the Blind Month Committee, which I would gladly
chair. This will cover events throughout the month of October, and yes,
maybe one on White Cane Safety Day at the Square, while we have the venue.
Any plans made for October 15th  will not interfere with the White Cane Walk
and we will extend invitations to both CABVI and Clovernook to join us in
any Meet the Blind Month Event planned that day.
