[Cinci-nfb] Prayers for the family of one of my ONH kids, please

Hello folks. I'd like all of you to pray for the family of one of my ONH
clients in southern California.

 

I've been working with the grandmother on and off for ten years, and the
grandmother was very active in the Optic Nerve Hypoplasia support community
online.

 

A friend visited their home after not hearing from the family for a week,
and both the grandmother and grand-daughter were found deceased. The police
found a note but haven't revealed its contents. We think it was a murder
suicide, but official causes of death are still under investigation. It is
likely that both the grandmother and grand-daughter were deceased for a week
or more before their bodies were found earlier this afternoon our time.

The grand-daughter had many medical complications as well as (diagnosed)
intellectual disabilities and was in an out-of-school placement in the city
where they live.

 

Please keep this family and the community of people with Optic Nerve
Hypoplasia in your prayers tonight as this is a huge shock to us all.
