[Cinci-nfb] Congratulations Elif!

Elif is a rock star who will change what it means to be blind for all of us
in her chosen career. I just wish we could keep her after graduation. This
will give me an excuse to visit Turkey someday. 

 

Way to go Elif!!! Your hard work has paid off. I am so incredibly proud to
call you a friend and fellow federationist.

Hello Fellow Federationists,

For those of you who were not at convention, I would like to let you know
that Elif Emir Oksus, a member of the Cincinnati Chapter, was presented a
$5,000 NFB national scholarship! Elif is a student at the University of
Cincinnati, working on her PhD in Counseling. She was one of thirty winners
of a national scholarship, out of over 600 applicants. Great job Elif, we
are all very proud of you and the great work you are doing.
