Dear Marianne,



The Procter & Gamble Company contacted Cincinnati Association for the Blind
& Visually Impaired (CABVI) and shared information about a study they are
conducting.  CABVI is sharing this information with you as a courtesy
notification in case you are interested in finding out more about the
study.  You are under no obligation to participate and your information has
not been nor will be shared with P & G.  Your participation in the study is
strictly voluntary and does not influence the services you receive or may
receive in the future from CABVI.



Study participants will be chosen based on an initial telephone survey.  A
telephone interview does not guarantee participation in the study.



Below is the information from Procter & Gamble:



*Procter & Gamble is seeking men and women who are visually impaired, age
18-65, in the Cincinnati area to participate in a study about beauty and
personal care products.*



*Study details *

The study will begin the first week of July.  Participants must be willing
to use the shampoo & conditioner provided by us for 2 weeks.  After the 2
weeks has ended, you must be willing to participate in a 45 minute
discussion in which two Procter & Gamble employees will come to visit you
in your home.  During the visit, they would like to speak to you about your
experience with the shampoo & conditioner provided by us.



The researchers will want to record the interview.  These recordings and
pictures will be used for research purposes only and will not be shared
outside of Procter & Gamble without your knowledge and consent.



The 2 week take home panel and visit will be scheduled at a time that is
convenient for you.  Study participants will receive $70 for participating
in the study.  *If you are interested in participating in the study, please
