Elif and chris, 
Thank you both so much for responding so quickly to my plea for help! I apologize for not responding sooner, but I was working all morning and helping a friend all afternoon.
Chris, thanks for your offer, but it will probably be easier if elif and I just use lift or goober all the way to the picnic. More expensive by a bit, but less complicated.
So… elif, I will get over at my house, and call you when we are on the way to your house. If your husband can give me a ride home, I would be very grateful. I rarely use dictation because it makes people look foolish at times, so I see that when I intended to use the proper noun Uber, siri found it amusing to change my words!
