Hi Judy,

How I love this story.

I have been without a dog for too long now, and it makes me so happy for all those who have these sweet animals.

Thanks much for sharing.

Deborah

Dear Judy: Thanks for that wonderful account. I’m so glad the priest did that. Sincerely, Dale Barta

Hi All,

I got a wonderful email from a friend who lives in North Carolina. She went to Easter Mass this morning. My friend, Jackie, was sitting next to a woman who had a service dog with her. The dog was very comfortable at Mass. When the parishioners stood the dog stood, and when everyone sat the dog sat.

The priest walked around the church sprinkling holy water on the parishioners and blessing them. When he got to the woman and her service dog, he stopped and put one hand on the woman's head, and his other hand on the dog's head, and he blessed both of them.

My friend said that she was brought to tears by such sweetness.

Happy Easter,

Judy Rudig
