[Cinci-nfb] NFB Braille program

As most of you know, NFB has received a grant from OOD to provide Braille
instruction to adults in Ohio. This instruction will teach the students
uncontracted (grade 1) Braille. As part of this grant we are looking for
students and mentors. I am attaching the mentor application for anyone who
wants to be a mentor. Please complete it and return it to Debbie Baker or
me by January 20, 2018. We will be interviewing perspective mentors during
the week of January 21 and all mentors will need to attend a 1 day training
in Columbus. You will be reimbursed for travel and paid for your time
mentoring. If you have any questions please contact Debbie Baker or me. If
you need help completing the mentoring application please ask one of us.
Also, spread the word to any legally blind adult you know who may be
interested in learning uncontracted Braille. My email is
