[Cinci-nfb] Please pray for Deborah and her daughter

Judy. This is terrible news. Did she say what kind of support she has at her home. I’m wondering if we need to determine this and possibly reach out to the Florida NFB affiliate or the local Chapter down there to see if anyone could help out.

Hello fellow Federationists,

 

I called Deborah Kendrick today to say hello and find out how she is recovering.  Unfortunately, she is having more problems with her leg.  A recent x-ray showed that the leg bone has broken again.  She will have surgery on Monday at a hospital in Florida.  The orthopedist also told her the hip replacement that she had last year will have to be redone.  The hip surgery will also be done on Monday.

 

As if this were not enough, her daughter, Melinda, came to Cincinnati to clear out Deborah's apartment.  While moving furniture into the truck Melinda stepped backward off a curb and caught her foot in the sewer opening, breaking her ankle.  She is unable to drive, so her husband flew to Cincinnati to take her back to Florida when she is able to travel.

 

Please pray for Deborah and Melinda.
