The BEST Grant in collaboration with Humanware invites educators, parents
and students to join Mike Tindell of HumanWare to learn more about using the
BrailleNote Touch in the classroom. This hands-on workshop will begin with
a review of the hardware, apps, navigation strategies and uses of the
BrailleNote Touch in the Classroom. Participants will use KeyMath to write
math expressions in Nemeth code and insert those expressions into a KeyWord
document. Next participants will share documents with cloud applications
such as Google Drive and review different uses of the BrailleNote Touch File
Management tool. Finally, participants will connect to a wireless network
and use features built into KeyWeb to conduct research on the web.
