Subject: Prayers for Christopher Sabine--Funding for a Great Opportunity

 

Dear NFB Family:

 

Chris informed me he received notification from Iowa Educational services
for the Blind & Visually Impaired with a request to be a speaker. They are
interested in having him conduct a keynote address at their family
conference next April on Optic Nerve Hypoplasia. The target audience will be
approximately 30 families from around the state with children with ONH. The
agency also wants Chris to conduct his workshop at one of their break-out
sessions the next morning. Chris said This will be the first time he has had
the opportunity to conduct one of his workshops in two years and only the
third time he has  done it in-person. Chris ask for your prayers that the
funding for him to speak at this conference goes through and this
opportunity moves forward.
