Hey Chris, That was a wonderful thank you you sent to Bob, a member of the
pastoral counsel at Assumption. I've sent a voice mail and an Email to aJuan
Martinez, the outreach pastor at Vineyard Cincinnati try-county and have not
yet heard from him. I suppose he's very busy. I do have his E-mail address,
which is Juan.martinez at vinyardcincinnati.com.  To call him, the number is,
(513)671-0422 ext 225. He should be in tomorrow. Please call him as well,
and send him the Email you just sent him. I'll also tell him about meet the
blind month. It's an excellent idea, because it will give him plenty of

I wanted to thank you for the opportunity for Lisa Hall and I to present our
proposal for an outreach event / "meet and greet" from the Cincinnati
Chapter of the national Federation of the Blind to Pastoral Council
yesterday evening. We would be privileged to take part in a "wine and
Cheese" event at the Parish after 4:00 Mass or another event as you see fit.
October is Meet the Blind month. White Cane Awareness Day, an annual event
established by the National Federation of the Blind, also falls in
October-so that month in particular would be excellent to host such an
event. 

 

Please let me know what our chapter needs to do in terms of organizing this
