Chris,
Again, I apologize for lack of connectivity and thus weighing in late here,
but you are absolutely correct. DO not report the financial details on the
FaceBook page.
Thanks,
Deborah

Annie. I see your point. However, I think Sheri and Elif have a point. Many
corporations don't share information on specific sales figures. The upshot
is that the campaign so far has been very successful. We typically don't
include the entire Treasurer's Report in the monthly minutes for similar
reasons, based on similar feedback. When I write up the monthly minutes, I
indicate that the report was accepted by the Chapter, but not what's in our
bank account or our actual monthly revenues. We decided some time ago to
keep that information from the public.

Very Best,

Chris

I don't understand why we couldn't have said we sold nine t-shirts because
that was one of our purposes for being at the event yesterday!!!!

Chris,

Just take out the sentence about the “revenue totals $855”. Right ladies?

I agree with Elif, please edit out the details of the t-shirt sales if you
put this on Facebook.

Best Regards,

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.

Congrats to everyone.
Thank you to all who put effort to organize and walked there and was there.
Chris, Please make sure our t-shirt sale result is not public. I mean
people do not have to know at this point how many we sold and how much we
made out of it.
This is just my idea, people may think different,
