[Cinci-nfb] FW: Important--Proposal for Items for the NFB Ohio Convention's Option

Please note the following:

 

1.        I don’t plan to bring any t-shirts to the meeting tomorrow unless I am emailed today with a request for one and that you will be prepared to pay upon receipt of the t-shirt.

2.       I am taking names of those of you who plan to attend the Christmas Party at red Lobster on Saturday December 9th; if you plan to go and haven’t given me your name, it would be helpful as we need between 20 and 30 people to attend.  Friends are welcomed, too.

3.       Please bring any recommendations for nonprofit organizations for our Christmas donations

4.       Finally, please bring all items for the option basket to go to the NFB of Ohio state convention; I won’t be taking items after Saturday as the basket will be wrapped early next week for a pretty presentation for whoever bids on it.

Unfortunately, there may not be any t-shirts left for next month as I am taking the remainder of them to the state convention.  Currently, there  are less than 25 left.  If all of them sale, there won’t be any left unless the membership decides to invest in the purchase of additional ones.

 

Also, are you planning to attend the Christmas party at red Lobster on December 9th?

Deanna, Sheri, Deborah and Kim are the only people I have heard from thus far.  Even if you aren’t attending Saturday’s meeting, perhaps, you can send something for the basket.  I will be leaving next Thursday for the convention.

Dear NFB Family:

 

Each year at the NFB Ohio State convention, the affiliates donate option items; it is my understanding we did not participate last year.  We have sought other avenues for contributions but have been unsuccessful.  Consequently, I am writing to make an appeal to you for each of you to bring an item to the October 21st NFB Cincinnati Chapter meeting to go into a basket to option off at the Ohio State convention.  The fundraising committee would like the theme of the basket to be:  “Home Sweet Home.”

 

You might consider items such as candles, popcorn, tea, coffee, a throw blanket, a descriptive movie, etc. to name a few things.  However, these are just suggestions; please bring any item that you think of when you hear the words “home sweet home.”

 

Let’s go build the Federation with 100% participation!  Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
