I hope that you all are doing well.
Clovernook Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired will be hosting
our 2nd Annual Braille Challenge on Friday, March 2! It’s a braille
competition for children grades K-12. Last year, the NFB of Cincinnati
had an information and literature table for parents to check out while
their children were competing in the challenge. We had volunteers
staff the table and answer any questions that the parents had.
I am looking for volunteers to staff the table again this year. I
don’t know the exact times yet, as the program is still in the works,
but last year it was from 10:30 AM-2:00 PM. I expect that time frame
to be the same this year, as it worked well. Lunch and snacks will be
provided to all volunteers. Please email me as soon as possible to let
me know if you are available and would like to help out. Thanks!
