Hi Deborah,

Thank you so much, I am sure these articles will be very helpful. I wish you could be there to present with us. I hope you are progressing well with your recovery.

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want; blindness is not what holds you back.

Apologies! Evidently, my phone concluded I was finished without consulting me. If you would like specific links, I can send in a few days. Or, alternatively, visit www.afb.org/aw

and search for my name or medical facility.

Finished for real this time,

Hello Cincinnati Chapter,

As I previously discussed in our last chapter meeting, we have been invited to present a blindness training to a health care facility in Pleasant Ridge. They have had a number of blind and visually impaired clients and would feel better if they knew how to make their stay more comfortable for them.

The best day for this visit with the staff is a Wednesday afternoon at 2 PM. We would probably make it about an hour presentation and have time for questions. I am reaching out to you to know who would be interested in participating in this event, and we will schedule a conference call to determine the date and go over an agenda. Please reply to this email and I will contact you off list. Thank you very much.
