[Cinci-nfb] Bake Sale important announcement!

Hello Cincy,

Deanna, thank you for getting this message out, I just want to mention a few things.

This year, the Bake Sale will go on from 11 am to 6 pm with a 1 hour lunch. We plan to have 2 shifts to accommodate this schedule, 11 am to 2 pm and 3 pm to 6 pm. I will be there all day, but we require chapter members to be there as well on either shift or all day. Please contact me either on or off list to let me know if you can make it and for which shift. My contact information is in the salutation below.

Also, since we are conducting this event for 6 hours, I would like to ask all the excellent bakers to provide just a little more of the tasty treats than what you have provided in the past. We are trying this for the first time because we would like to reach the evening shoppers as well as the morning shoppers. I hope that you will accommodate this request.

One last thing, afew of us will be there by 10:15 am that morning to set up. Please consider helping us with this task.

Deanna and Tammy, I will bring 2 7 up cakes, and at least 4 pies, sweet potato and chest.

I am looking forward to a fun and successful event. We have always had a great time at this event in the past. It is a great way to spread love and peace while gaining funds for the chapter and building the Federation! I hope to see you there.

Good Morning Cincinnati NFB members and friends,

It’s time to start thinking of what items you will be
bringing/donating for our Bake Sale on December 1st. Show off your
baking skills by making some tasty treats to sell at our Bake Sale!

I am organizing a list of the items, along with the help of Tammy
Smith. Please respond to this email thread, letting us know what you
plan on bringing. You can also  reply off-list if you prefer at:

Please reply as soon as possible. Remember that Items should be
priced, pre-packed, and ready to sell. Examples: Brownies and cookies
placed in zip-lock baggies; slices of cake and pie should be cut and
covered or placed in a clam-shell container. This will help things run
more smoothly on the day of the event!

If you want to donate baked goods, but will not be available to attend
the sale, please let me know and we may be able to pick up your items.

We look forward to seeing many of you on Saturday, December 1st at the
Save-a-Lot in Westwood!
