Subject: [Ohio-Talk] Registration for the national convention.

NFBO,

We have a number of leaders that have been putting in a lot of hard work and
hours to get people registered for our national convention, Vice president
Turner probably has most of her members listed but even she has stepped up
her efforts. You see that several states that have larger memberships than
ours currently have less members registered. I think this also applies to
our chapters. I can tell you now that other states will be coming for Ohio
and even with the current listing which shows us listed in the top ten,
which demonstrate good numbers it is not enough. When we were mention at
least twice on the live president release last night my heart felt good.
Ohio let's find a way to reach out to others to make this the largest
attendance for us and cover our financial responsibilities also. We will be
sending out more information pertaining to this and other issues very soon.
You know that I said that on Monday a new report for registration will be
coming out and I am considering pulling the names out and cleaning the list
up to post to demonstrate who has already registered. I say that because
many people who post to this list name was not on the first list.

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you bac
