She reminded all Chapter members that a point system is in place to gage members’ participation in Chapter activities and eligibility for Convention assistance. All members must pay annual dues of $5 to be eligible to participate in the Chapter and vote on motions. She continued that the Chapter has two new members: Chrisotpher Grisby and Dan Brooks. Dave Perry encouraged all Chapter members to attend the State Convention, which is currently set for November 14-17 in Westlake, Ohio. The cutoff date for convention assistance is November 4. Door prizes will be available. The van will be leaving the Frisch’s Big Boy Restaurant at 1003 Gest Street in Queensgate at 6:15 A.M. on Friday, November 15, arriving at the Hilton Doubletree Westlake Hotel at 10 A.M. All members riding in the van must arrive at Frisch’s at 6:00 A.M. Six seats have been reserved for the van to date with a limit of 13 passengers. All passengers will be limited to one bag, and the cost of transportation will be $20 per person. The van will arrive at 12 Noon on Sunday November 17 for the return trip to Cincinnati and is expected to arrive between 4:30 and 5:00 at the Frisch’s Queensgate location. A flier has been sent to the community soliciting donations for the van, and the Chapter will be contributing door prizes. A basket, called the “all Around Evening” basket, will be available for members to contribute. The membership panel is scheduled for 3:00 P.M. on Saturday. There will be an after-party in the Convention Hospitality Room following the Banquet on Saturday evening, and Gary Warren will be serving as DJ. Frank Bragassa is chairing the Resolutions Committee.
