Dear Gloria, along with Chris and the Cincinnati Chapter,
This was a great meeting and even after Representative Greg Landsman left,
we were able to have open communication, and it was very good.
Let's keep building on this it was my pleasure to attend I hope other
chapters will invite more legislators to our meetings.

The National Federation of the Blind advances the lives of its members and
all blind people in the United States. We know that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. Our collective power, determination,
and diversity achieve the aspirations of all blind people.

Subject: [Ohio-Talk] Meeting with Rep. Landsman
Hello all. Our apologies for the technical glitches that occurred with the
Zoom platform. We had a very successful meeting overall with 1st District
Representative Greg Landsman this afternoon, who graciously met with the
Cincinnati Chapter for a half-hour to discuss our national legislative
priorities as a follow up to Washington Seminar.
He is very enthusiastic about the mission of the Federation and has promised
to cosponsor all four of our pieces of legislation. I hope and pray that we
can maintain a positive working relationship with the representative moving
forward and thank all of you who were able to attend.
Very Best Regards,
Chris
