<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT FACE="Calibri">As indicated in Christopher Sabine’s</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"> <FONT FACE="Calibri">membership report, we encountered a bit of a stumbling block with the White Cane event, and have come up with what I hope you will all find to be a happy work-around.</FONT></SPAN></P>
<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT FACE="Calibri">It turns out that October 15 is also part of the National indistries for the Blind</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"> <FONT FACE="Calibri">conference, which both the CABVI and Clovernook CEO’s and other key staff will be attending. </FONT></SPAN></P>
<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT FACE="Calibri">Since October is meet the Blind Month all month, I suggested that we move the walk to another date when all can attend.</FONT></SPAN></P>
<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT FACE="Calibri">The two date</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT FACE="Calibri">s suggested are October 20 and 22. </FONT></SPAN></P>
<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT FACE="Calibri">We agreed that Kathy Gottsleich of CABVI would research to make sure there are no significant conflicts with other organ</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT FACE="Calibri">izations holding events downtown, and that I would check with all of you. </FONT></SPAN></P>
<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT FACE="Calibri">CABVI and Clovernook have provided tremendous support for this event in the past and will do so again, so ensuring that the CEO’s of each organizatio</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT FACE="Calibri">n is able to attend just makes sense to me. </FONT></SPAN></P>
<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT FACE="Calibri">I invite all your feedback and will keep you posted with all and any information as I have it. </FONT></SPAN></P>

<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT FACE="Calibri">We meet at City Hall, make a short and usually lovely walk together from City Hall to Fountain Square</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT FACE="Calibri">. On the Square, we share information about the Federation and enjoy time with one another.</FONT></SPAN></P>
<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT FACE="Calibri">The entire event</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"> <FONT FACE="Calibri">runs roughly from 10:30 to 12:30, and has become a great opportunity to remind our fellow Cincinnatians that we are here!</FONT></SPAN></P>
