<div dir="LTR" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1460853392565_3242"><span lang="en-us" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1460853392565_3241"><font face="Calibri" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1460853392565_3240">Just one month remaining to apply for one of three generous scholarships being awarded by the National Federation of the Blind of Ohio. The application process has been streamlined this year to enable students to complete the entire process online, if desired. The application form, recommendation letters, and transcripts can now all be submitted electronically. </font></span></div>
<div dir="LTR" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1460853392565_3263"><span lang="en-us" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1460853392565_3262"><font face="Calibri" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1460853392565_3261">Three scholarships will be awarded to legally blind students who will be attending college in the 2016-2017 school year. </font></span></div>
<div dir="LTR" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1460853392565_3260"><span lang="en-us" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1460853392565_3259"><font face="Calibri" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1460853392565_3258">They are: </font></span></div>
<div dir="LTR"><span lang="en-us"><font face="Calibri">--The $1500 Jennica Ferguson Scholarship, </font></span></div>
<div dir="LTR"><span lang="en-us"><font face="Calibri">--The $1000 Robert Eschbach Scholarship, </font></span></div>
<div dir="LTR"><span lang="en-us"><font face="Calibri">--And the $1000 Barbara E. Fohl Scholarship. </font></span></div>
<div dir="LTR"><span lang="en-us"><font face="Calibri">Academic performance, community service, and financial need will all be taken into consideration. </font></span></div>
<div dir="LTR"><span lang="en-us"><font face="Calibri">Applicants need not be members of the National Federation of the Blind. </font></span></div>
<div dir="LTR"><span lang="en-us"><font face="Calibri">The deadline for applications is May 15, 2016. Decisions will be made and Students notified by July 15, 2016. </font></span></div>
<div dir="LTR"><span lang="en-us"><font face="Calibri">In addition to the scholarship award, each winner will receive a trip and all expenses paid for attendance at the NFB Ohio convention, November 10-13, at the DoubleTree, 1100 Quarry Lane, in Independence, Ohio. Scholarships will be presented at the convention banquet, November 12. Attendance at this educational and fun gathering of blind people is mandatory.</font></span></div>
