I wanted to post something very interesting I noticed at Convention. Thursday night, I was doing a little “structured discovery style” exploration of the area around the ball rooms in an effort to orient myself to the hotel. I went to Shula’s before and heard several people talking about a Braille sign with the word “la pajaa near Petit Ball Room E.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>I found the sign, and indeed, plane as day, it says “la paja.” I Googled and it turns out that “la paja” means liar in Spanish. In some countries, the term has other connotations that I won’t go into on the list.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Just wondering if anyone besides Lisa from our Chapter noticed this.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Chris <o:p></o:p></p></div></body></html>
