We met at City Hall and had Vice Mayor Christopher Smitherman read our two proclamations, while I spoke on the history behind the event. We then did our annual White Cane Walk to Fountain Square, where we had a Meet-And-Greet with the public to hand out literature, and broke out into dance, led by Clovernook Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired. It was a beautiful day in the Nati!
