People present were Marty Rahn, Melissa G, Melissa F, Christopher Dowdy, and Becky Sabo. ellie, Korenna, and Shon were absent. Bianca Mendoza and Diane McGeorge were present as a guests. First, we discussed who was elected to the COAGDU board at State Convention. The positions up for election were president currently held by Melissa Green, Secretary, currently held by Marty Rahn, Board position 1 held by Beth Allred, Board position 2 currently held by Tifany Dugan, and Board Position 3 currently held by Brian Watts. The following people were elected to the following position. For the Position of President, Melissa Green was elected. For the position of Secretary, MARTY Rahn was elected. Board position 1, Corinna Orozco was elected. For board Position number 2 Melissa Fishbern was elected. For Board Position number 3, Ellie Carolson was elected. We added a fourth board position via voice vote, and for this Position, Christopher Dowdy was elected. We then discussed having a multi-state seminar as COAGDU in order to educate people both within our state and outside of it about guide dog rights, food neutrition and other topics of interest. Marty said that though she loved the idea, that we needed to start small and reach out to the surrounding states first and that eventually we could then get several states with NAGDU divisions together. Diane agreed with everything that had been said and also agreed that we needed to begin in our own state. She also suggested that we form a committee to begin tackling this idea including Tina Thomas from California. Our treasurer's report indicates that we currently have $241.69. We made about $250 from our fundraising, dues collecting and other activities at convention. Marty asked what the previous balance was, and Becky said that she would put thr a spreaeadsheet and will send it to the board so that we can account for all of the money. We next discussed appointing a Social Networking committee. Christopher, Melissa F and Becky said that they would be interested in serving on this committee and were appointed. We discussed fundraising and how we could rebuild the treasuery. Becky said that we should do some fundraising, and Marty said that the problem with most fundraisers is that it costs to get started in them. We discussed our Yankee Candle fundraiser, and those of us on the board have gotten the email and it has been dissiminated to our NFB lists. Melissa F has a lot of good ideas about getting literature about our division in the hands of prospective people. Melissa F and Becky will be in charge of putting together a brochure for COAGDU. Marty will also help with this. Melissa G asked for some of us to call into the At Large Chapter Meeting because they are focusing on guide dogs this month. This call will take place this upcoming Wednesday night at 7:00 PM. Melissa G will send out the call-in info. Melissa G will also send a list of emails of people who need to be subscribed to our COAGDU listserv to David Andrews. We also briefly discussed a potential state-widee leadership seminar with division presidents and possibly other board members from those divisions. A date has not yet been set for this event. Our next meeting was scheduled for December 13, 2015 at 6:30 PM. The meeting was then adjourned at 7:45 PM.

Warmly,

Melissa R.
