Blind man runs the Unseen Bean, makes great cofee

Gerry Leary has been blind since birth but that hasn't stopped him from becoming a master cofee roaster. His Unseen Bean brand is a favorite of cyclist Lance Armstrong.

Gerry Leary knows how to roast coffee without ever seeing the beans. He's developed a method of roasting that doesn't rely on visual cues. With the help of things such a talking thermometer he has developed something he calls "blind roasted coffee". His Unsean Bean brand is getting lots of buzz from cyclist Lance Armstrong. The Tour de France champ recently sent his fans a message on Twitter about the Unseen Bean. That message resulted in 100 order for coffee. Gerry Leary roasts his coffee in a Boulder warehouse and has a small cafe just off the Pearl Street Mall on Broadway. He also does a nice mail order business.
